Located in the heart of Covent Garden, London, St Clement Danes is a dynamic Church of England Primary School with a distinguished history and an exciting future.

Welcome to St Clement Danes

A warm welcome to St Clement Danes Church of England Primary School from our Headteacher Patricia Coxhead.

Aims and values

At St Clement Danes children take their place in the history books of a school founded more than 300 years ago.

The school's history

Occupying a fine Victorian building in Drury Lane in the City of Westminster St Clements is more than 300 years old.

Whilst St Clement Danes retains many of its original features, much has been done to guarantee that the building is fit for twenty-first century education.

Our prospectus

Our Prospectus provides a comprehensive introduction to the school, including its curriculum, policies, history and teaching staff, and complements the information available on this website.

Ofsted inspections and reports

The Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills regulates and inspects to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and in education and skills for learners of all ages.

Pupil Premium

The Government believes that the Pupil Premium, which is additional to main school funding, is the best way to address the current underlying inequalities between children eligible for free school meals (FSM) and their wealthier peers by ensuring that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most.

P.E. and Sport Premium
