Key Stage 2

We are delighted that St Clement Danes’ children once out-performed the national average in the latest Key Stage 2 SATs results:

85% of our pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading (national average 75%) 
81% of our pupils achieved the expected standard in Writing (national average 78%)
81% of our pupils achieved the expected standard in Maths (national average 76%)
89% of our pupils achieved the expected standard in Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling (national average 78%)
78% of our pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading,Writing and Maths (national average 64%)

 

In addition:

48% of our pupils achieved the high standard in Reading (national average 28%)
19% of our pupils achieved the high standard in Writing (national average 20%)
37% of our pupils achieved the high standard in Maths (national average 23%)
52% of our pupils achieved the high standard in Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling (national average 34%)

Key Stage 1

We are thrilled that our Key Stage 1 children also achieved above the national average in reading, writing and maths:

79% of our pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading (national average 76%)
76% of our pupils achieved the expected standard in Writing (national average 70%)
79% of our pupils achieved the expected standard in Maths (national average 76%)

25% of our pupil were working at greater depth in Reading 
18% of our pupils were working at greater depth in Writing 
24% of our pupils were working at greater depth in Maths

Furthermore, in the Year 1 phonics screening test, 93% of our children met the expected standard (national average 83%).
