Emerald City Costume Designers

Published

Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 went to watch PWC’s The Wizard of Oz pantomime at the Peacock Theatre this afternoon.

Last term PWC set a challenge for children to design a costume for the pantomime dame, Auntie Em, to wear in the Emerald City. Several schools across London entered the competition and we are very proud to announce that Tallulah (Year 5) was one of just five runners up and the competition’s overall winner was Angelina (Year 4). Enormous congratulations to Angelina and Tallulah. Angelina’s fabulous design was created by the PWC’s wardrobe team and will be worn by Auntie Em during every performance in London’s West End and when the show goes on tour to Edinburgh! Well done to all our creative costume designers who took part in this competition.
