The School Council

The School Council is made up of two representatives from each class. These members are elected by their class and formal voting takes place each September, just like a real election.

The elected members then have the job of representing the views of their classes at bi-weekly meetings as well as all helping with the smooth running of the council. An elected chairperson runs the meetings and makes sure everyone has a say.

The council members also take suggestions made by the pupils to the Headmistress regularly.

The school council is helped by Miss Fostir, Miss Dean and Miss Gould. They assist the council with advice and help them to liaise with the rest of the school.
