From Thursday 29th February to Friday 8th March, we have a week of book-filled fun....

 

 

THE BOOK FAIR

The Book Fair continues until Wednesday 6^th March. Do come along and visit the fair in our school hall after pick-up, 3.35pm - 4.30pm.

Please bring cash when you visit the fair. Alternatively, you'll be able to pay online using your phone and the QR code provided by the desk. Please note that we won't be able process card payments with a card machine; only via the QR code.

On Wednesday 21st February, each child took home a £1 book token. This token can be used at the Book Fair to get £1 off a book. Alternatively, in participating book shops, you will find the new World Book Day  £1 books which you could get with your token!

 

 

DRESS UP DAY

To celebrate World Book Day, on Friday 8th March, everyone is invited to come to school dressed as a book character!

Please donate £1 on the day which will help fund more books for our school. You can put your £1 in the bucket on the school gate or pay online through School Gateway.

THE MASKED READER

Back by popular demand! Who's that behind the mask?! The Masked Reader returns to St Clement Danes!

Each day of Book Week, classes will be emailed a video of a 'masked reader' sharing a story. The classes need to guess, from the clues in the video, which member of our school staff is hiding behind the mask! The class or classes that can guess the most masked readers, will win books from the book fair for their classroom Book Corners. The children will find out who are behind the masks in assembly on Monday 11^th March!

 

THE BIG READ
