In their English lessons this term, Year 4 have been studying Ted Hughes’ book, The Iron Man.

This morning the children visited The Garden Cinema where they were treated to a special private screening of The Iron Giant, a film adaptation of Hughes' book!

 

As you may have read in our school newsletter, every Saturday and Sunday morning (and on weekdays during the school holidays) The Garden Cinema hosts Films for the Family. At these times, all tickets are 'pay-what-you-can' for families (families are free to pay as much or as little as they can afford). Find out more here: FILMS FOR THE FAMILY. Upcoming films this month include Toy Story, Charlotte's Web and Walking With Dinosaurs! On Saturdays, the films are followed by free fun and creative activities for children.
