With great anticipation this week, the children have been watching the final instalment of our storytelling series all about our school values!

Anna Cosmos, the storyteller, has created a special video for our school, all about the value of Endurance. The children have loved watching the story and engaging with it during RE lessons this week.

The Persistent Widow

 

The Parable of The Persistent Widow has sparked lots of discussions across the school about the importance of not giving up, perseverance and accessing a growth mindset to help us tackle challenges. We’ve also studied successful role models who have overcome obstacles to achieve their goals and we’ve even actively practised demonstrating the value of endurance and perseverance when tacking tricky challenges and tasks together in class.
