Today Year 6 visited the Benjamin Franklin's House! The museum is a short walk away from our school, near Charing Cross. 

 

 

Year 6 child: “On arrival, we walked down some wobbly old stairs where we were met with bones in a glass container. We were taken around in groups, visiting each room. There was one room where one of the kind volunteers demonstrated how Benjamin Franklin had discovered lightning, using a real life Tesla coil! Another room had replicas of human body parts and organs. The final room that my group visited was the room where Benjamin Franklin worked, and where he had what he referred to as a daily 'air bath' in front of the huge open windows on a busy London road!”
