Year 2 have had the most amazing Minibeast Day! 

This term in our Science lessons, we have been learning all about Living Things & Habitats and Animals including Humans. We have really enjoyed learning about insects.

We started off our Minibeasts Day discussing our lovely costumes - there were so many different types of invertebrates in class today.

In English, we wrote poems describing our minibeast of choice. We also did lots of minibeast maths. The children ended the day by making their own minibeast pancakes and watching The Snail and the Whale, as a fun finale to our English learning about this book. We also sang many minibeast songs throughout the day!
