Maths enrichment with NRICH!

We know that St Clement Danes children are wonderful mathematicians. You can develop your skills further by solving some maths problems. Click on the blue tab below to explore the NRICH site, solve maths problems and play some maths games. One of Miss Gould’s favourite games is Countdown - click here to play!

If you decide to submit one of your solutions to the ‘live’ problems, you must tell an adult and get their permission first.

White Rose maths lessons

Parents, we use White Rose Maths at school and now your child can access some lessons from home too. 

To use the lessons, click on the blue tab below and then follow these steps:

1. Click on 'Home Learning Live'
2. Click on the pink tab for a set of lessons for your child’s year group.
3. Watch the video (either on your own or with your child).
4. Find a calm space where your child can work for about 20-30 minutes.
5. Use the video guidance to support your child as they work through a lesson.

You do not need to print out the question sheet as your child can make a note of their answers on any paper.

Remember that your child has access to IXL with their password. There are lots of activities for each year group. A good place to start would be the 'Recommendations' page in the 'Learning' section.
