This morning Year 3 had the exciting opportunity to visit the The London Transport Museum as part of their Geography learning about London Transport.

The children were able to see the development of London's transport from the 1800s to the present day. Year 3 asked questions and were able to board many of the vehicles. They discussed the progression from horse and cart to steam and then electric transportation, and discussed how quickly the underground progressed! They couldn't believe that the first underground train was a steam train and they could smell the smoke while sitting onboard!
