This term our Year 5 class has been taking part in a series of workshops run by professional musicians and performers from the Royal Opera House.

The children began by learning songs from two famous operas, Humperdinck's 'Hansel and Gretel', and Bizet's 'Carmen'. A director from the Royal Opera House put their acting skills to the test and helped them to stage and rehearse the songs, before they performed the scenes together.
