Year 6 have had a fantastic first day at Sayers Croft.

On arrival, the children gallantly tackled their first big challenge – making their own beds and unpacking!

After a tasty lunch, we had an action-packed afternoon of team games on the big field and an orienteering quest, getting to know this beautiful site that will be our home for the week. All that worked up a hearty appetite for our delicious dinner!

Tummies full of apple crumble and custard, we headed off for a fun evening of giant games in the hall.

Everyone’s now safely tucked up in bed, dreaming of the exciting adventures that await us tomorrow!
